{name:Filendie Garren#|#picture:2}Filendie had now calmed down, his breathing was back to normal and his natural straight stance returned. The occasional rustle in the trees from above caught his attention but when he looked there was nothing there. It was time to head back finally, all the excitement had made him just want to lay down and rest for the remainder of the day. He looked down at his staff, his face remaining blank and then back to the forest ahead of him. He hated and loved the weapon in so many ways.
His thoughts were broken by the sound of crackling leaves and thudding feet. Before h knew what was happening a figure was nearly on top of him. His natural reaction was to hold his staff out in defence which had saved him many times. This technique proved useful in saving himself yet again as steel struck metal. The vibrations nearly shook the stave from his grip. He moved his other hand and grasped the wrist of his attacker with the weapon in it so he had a moment to gather himself. His feminine hand only just reached all the way around her arm as he pushed himself slightly closer.
His eyes clamped on that familiar sight, the slender body and luscious lips, the sweet smell of rage and determination. His eyes widened as he identified the woman “Elemental” He said with slight excitement “Still breathing I see” He mocked, knowing she would know exactly what he meant by it “Come to make my day complete?” He taunted with a snigger. He drew her sent in with his nostrils “Aaah honeysuckle, how I missed you” He said but just before finishing he pushed hard and span his stave around in an attempt to disarm the woman with the butt of his staff.

{name:Neelahn#|#picture:4}Clink! The noise was deafening. A smooth hand gripped her wrist. Thump, Her heart was beating in her head. Thump, Her eyes shot open. Thump, She was pulled closer Thump, Those eyes. Thump,
“Elemental”
Neelahn gasped. Her heart choked her words. Her stomach churned. She was face to face with him, for a second time.
She felt as though his hands were once again around her neck.
“Still breathing I see”
She tensed. Her injured leg throbbed from the forceful, stop. Her form threatened to crumble, but she stood, wobbly.
“Come to make my day complete?”
Her insides burned with fury. She scowled, but didn’t move.
“Aaah honeysuckle, how I missed you”
With those words, the sword in her grasp was hurled away, the tips of her fingers aching for its security as she was thrust backward. Her wounded leg struggled to keep her up as she stumbled for balance. Gripping a nearby tree, she was able to stay standing.
“You…”
She managed to speak, but couldn’t think. She spat at his feet in repulsion. Then, her leg simply gave out. Cursed swamp beast! She thought, grabbing at her leg in agony as she struck the ground, but she hastily stood again.
The Nyphai glanced at the sword, and then up at the man she had taken it from, but not long. She didn’t want this creature to notice her attention on him so she quickly shut her eyes. She reached out with the tree by her side. Like a shower of branches, the tree swatted at the mage rapidly.
Opening her eyes she darted toward her staff. This wouldn’t end like it did last time.

{name:Filendie Garren#|#picture:2}The sword was flung from her grip and her legs gave way, she seemed to be injured and was leaning heavily against a tree. In his mind he smugly thought that he had finally triumphed, he had won and she had lost to his strength “You...” she snarled and spat at the ground in front of him, then she finally fell, but soon after found her feet again. The woman glanced to one side, presumably at the sword and then to something else. He followed her eye line to a man standing nearby.
“Is this woman with you, she is very volatile, did you see the way she lunged at me without any provocati-” His words were cut short as a tree branch lunged down and hit him hard on the shoulder. The force pushed him down to one knee as another hit the same spot. Pain ripped through his arm and he let go of his staff as the tender spot began to bleed beneath his leather attire. Lifting his free hand he tapped into his elemental gift which he hadn’t done for a long time. His eyes turned an icy white and his mouth hung open as if he wasn’t aware of it. The air in the area turned cold and the back of his throat became dry as the moisture in the air gathered in front of his hand, creating a glowing light. A shield made of ice exploded out of the blue glow and hung suspended above him.
The tree branches continued to swat down, chipping small chunks from the barrier. Taking a deep sigh he tapped into his element further, breathing out cold mist from his open mouth. The tree branches frosted over and changed colour, and as each hit the barrier once again they shattered untill the tree stood still again. Letting go of the element, the ice turned to water instantly and showered over him and the pieces of frozen wood thawed out. Dripping wet he swallowed, lubricating his dry throat once again. Still knelt on one knee he shifted and grabbed his staff with his un-injured arm and it was then he stood up.
The woman had darted away after something; she wanted it as if her life depended on it. This woman was hard to stop and she had once again injured him and caused him pain. So now it was her turn to feel what pain truly was. He pointed his staff towards the running woman and used a dark spell that would cause her searing pains in every inch of her body. It wouldn’t cause her physical injury or kill her, only make her wish he would.
His lips bent into a smile as the crystal gave a sickly glow and his eyes clouded to black.

Calli'dus
Calli'dus stared into her deep eyes. A loneliness echoed from them, ancient feelings molded over by time, but not forgotten.
Her eyes snapped shut for a moment, a blink that caught Calli'dus's attention. Time seemed to stand still as he studied the flowing features of her face. It contained a shy beauty, radiant and subtle.
She spun away from him, a rush of air brushing against his face as her hair caressed the air. She clenched his godfather's sword tight in her slender hands, her grip showing a fierce rage. She sprinted away from him, the sword swiftly vanishing from his view.
The clash of metal on metal reverberated in Calli'dus's ears. He looked to see her facing a frail man, sword pressed against the man's metal stick. Their mouths moved, but the sound of the clash drowned out their whispers.
After a short time, he saw the man grab her wrist, his godfather's sword falling as her grip loosened.
The blade shimmered before him, mere inches from his feet. His focus shifted from his treasure, drawn to the conflict before him. He studied the pale man, taking in the acute features of his feminine form. His lip was turned up, a whisper of a smile haunting his hollow face.
He mouthed words to Calli'dus, whose thoughts blocked any chance of an auditory reception. His tender fingers lightly gripped the stick he held, as if caressing a lover.
As Calli'dus watched, he saw the flicker of a glow emanate from the stick.... or was it a shadow? It was impossible for him to tell, but one thing was for sure. This was no ordinary man who stood before him.
Out of the corner of his eye Calli'dus saw a flash of movement as branches seemed to fall on the man, knocking him aside. Calli'dus used this moment of confusion to reach down and pick up his sword. The cold metal warmed his body as his fingers clenched it.
He looked up to where the man had fallen to see he was already standing. He was soaking wet now, his clothes weighted down with the water.
Calli'dus watched as the man's eyes began to change color.
Calli'dus's mind quickly summoned the memory of the last time he had witnessed this strange show of optic dilation.
***
It was a calm autumn day, and Calli'dus had just delivered his latest game to the Shadowbrook butcher. He felt the coppers as they rubbed against his thigh. It was a pleasant massage that told him he would be able to partake in his hobby of sipping on ale this night.
The smell of fresh bread attempted to seduce his nostrils as he strolled through town. Suddenly he stopped as he heard a sound that made his spine tingle. A man's whisper, sounding more like a hiss than words, echoed out from the open door in front of Calli'dus.
The spoken words were in a tongue that Calli'dus had never heard before, but he knew they bore darkness. He crept toward the door, peering in slowly and cautiously.
Before him he saw a man dressed in a long, black robe that hung loosely off his frail frame. His silky black hair draped over his shoulders, the color matching the robe. It was hard in the dark room to see where one ended and the other began.
In front of the man sat a small, naked woman, curled up in the corner of the room. Her bosom lay tucked beneath her knees in an attempt to conceal her nakedness. Calli'dus heard a loud snap and a flash of light as the man stopped speaking, then saw that the woman lay dead before him.
The deed done, the man turned to leave. For a moment their eyes met, the same clouded eyes that Calli'dus saw now.
Calli'dus remembered the fear that had filled his heart when he saw those eyes. The fear that had caused him to flee. He remembered it, but did not feel it now. Only anger resided in his heart now.
This was his kill, and his alone. This woman had stolen his godfather's sword, his most prized possession, and must pay the price at his hands. She befouled his name by using his godfather's sword as her own. This kill belonged to Calli'dus, not to some stranger who wandered out of the forest. This man must be dealt with.
Calli'dus adjusted his grip on his blade, facing the mysterious man, drawing on his elemental fire for strength. Taking in a deep breath, he charged at the man, only a few feet away from his new prey. I am a hunter, he thought to himself, as he took his first steps toward the man, and I will not fail.
OOC: Sorry about the long wait guys, new job and school starting up and all that! Hope u like the post ^.^

{name:Filendie Garren#|#picture:2}About fifteen seconds into his spell the corner of his eye caught movement. As if to clarify it Setil screeched from the tree tops a warning. The light on his staff dimmed and died away, as did the darkness in his eyes. The man was now charging towards him "Oh Hell" He thought and twisted away from the man, as he did he touched his inner magic and cast a cloak spell on himself to make him totally invisible. He stopped after this through fear that the ruffle of grass may give away his position. He hoped they knew as little about Dark Magic as most other people and thought he had teleported away.
He wouldn’t make the same mistake he had before though. As a precaution he touched each eye with one of his fingers; a small but sharp pain was all he received but what he wanted was now active. He could see magical flows now with a spell he had picked up when he was younger, Magical Sight. He only saw the flows and how strong they were but not what it was. He looked at the woman and every touch on the ground sprouted waves of magic as if she were connected to it always. A stronger flow was between her and her instrument however, a connection that never faded.
He glanced to see where the man was and he too had strong magical properties. Each step on the ground also sprouted flows, not into the ground like the woman, but into himself. This was a rare occasion, three people that were powerful in magic’s in one place, a very rare thing indeed. His mind came to many conclusions; mostly ending up that it was fate. Fate for three to battle and one be victorious, fate that he would be killed for his lack of humanity, fate that they should all work together. Each of these options sounded hard and painful, but even if he wanted to make peace there would be no way to do it, not without more magic. He couldnt exactally attack them either, if they were working together he couldn't beat two people as powerful as himself. He had already greedily attacked this woman for more power, but why was this man attacking him? Then it hit him, he had been too trigger happy and used magic without thinking.
“To him I’m a filthy Dark Mage” He thought. Filendie then decided to wait and observe, maybe when they had calmed down he could try talking to them, they could be good allies to have. Filendie wasn’t all bad; he still had some humanity after all.

{name:Raven#|#picture:6}Shadow hopped down from the tree and started fishing. I wonder when this lass will wake up. His fire was dieing slowly but the coals were still bright red with an angered passion of heat. Maybe I should make some fish so she has something to eat. He gently set the fishing rod in the ground so it could stick up as he put some more wood on the fire. What a lovely day this is. All his thoughts stayed in his mind as he pondered the noise he heard off to the distance. I wonder what that is. Well if it comes this way I must be ready. His fire glowed bright as the night began to set. I hope this fire keeps the animals away. Already awake from his nap, the pole seemed to tighten some; he ran over and grabbed it quickly even though it didn't move much. He started to pull and real it in, but as the line got taught he let a little out so it didn’t snap or break the line. He allowed the pole to slowly ease itself as he then reeled it in, he caught a nice size fish. He killed the fish near the fire then took the hook out of its mouth. Raven went to his pack and got a skewer and stuck it in the fish and posted it over the fire before going back to fishing.
This might not be good if it’s something I can’t handle. Ravens mind bagan to wonder. Trying to figure out what was going on with out leaving this girl unprotected. Yea I know I'm a thief and rouge but doesn't mean I don't have a heart. Besides she’s like me. Never steal from a rouge. That’s part of our code. He smirked and laughed lightly. His thoughts became a soft and quiet whisper as he began to listen to the forest, river and the wind. Waiting for any sudden changes. Tonight’s going to be beautiful he thought as he caught another fish and waited for the other to finish cooking, Ravens eyes slowly glistened as he looked deep into the ember flame and the dancing coals.

{name:Rayce#|#picture:5}She had the most awkward of dreams. She had dreamed that a man had appeared and was stoking the fire, while roasting a fish. That in itself seemed peculiar - she was alone the last time she checked. So when she woke up, she was rather scared to find that her dream wasn't a dream.
Groggily, she propped herself on her elbows and yawned hugely.
"W-Who're you?" she asked bluntly. True, she was well-known for her bluntness. But she was alone in a forest, dressed in a bloody mini-skirt. Hence her uncomfortableness. She shivered, partly due to the cold, partly to the fact that there was a complete stranger there. A guy, no less.
"You didn't touch anything you weren't supposed to touch, did you?" she narrowed her eyes suspiciously, "Or see anything you weren't supposed to see?"
Grateful for the fact that there was a fire, she huddled closer to it. The flames flickering cast a shadow over her face, as she gazed into the stranger's eyes. Silence.

{name:Raven#|#picture:6}Shadow looked up to the awaken rogue and noticed that she was concerned about her well fair.
"I haven't laid a hand on you except to get you out of the water" He continued to cook the fish. "If you wish you can have some, Also there are bandages next to you if you wish."
His head cocked to the left. "Do you remember anything at all?" Realizing that she may not remember her fight.
He stood and moved toward the tree. "I will not harm you but only keep one such as you safe." He said and climbed up the tree almost falling on a smooth branch for his mochassine were still wet from the water. The knife on his arm quickly buried inside the tree to give him the support he needed.
